Shutterfly Photo Sharing Site Traffic Monitoring Tracker

If you have a family, event, baby, club, or other type of website set up on Shutterfly.com, you might be interested in seeing in real-time who visits your share site and views your photo albums. By following these steps, you can set up tracking on your Shutterfly website and stay in the know on your website and pictures statistics.

  1. Go to tracemyip.org and register for a new Website Visitor Tracking service account

  2. Log in to your newly-created TraceMyIP account. Then, click on "My Projects", select "Add New Project", and choose any one of the different counters and tracking widget. All styles will collect the same information

  3. Enter your Shutterfly website's web address ( e.g., username.shutterfly.com ) and give a name for your project

  4. Select "Shutterfly" from the list of code types and continue

  5. Next, select and copy your new JavaScript+HTML-based Shutterfly picture tracking code

  6. Log in to your Shutterfly account and click on "My Shutterfly"

  7. Click on "View my Share sites"

  8. Select the site that you'd like to enable monitoring on

  9. At the top of the page, click on "+ Add" and select "Add section"

  10. Click the "More" tab, scroll to the bottom of the list, and select "Widget"

  11. Choose a title (we recommend making it and position the widget to where you want the tracker to appear

  12. Find the newly added section, click on "Options", and select "Edit section..."

  13. Paste your new tracking code into the Widget code box and save your changes

  14. Visit or preview your Shutterfly website and make sure the tracker now appears on every page
